Hack Browser Data PC

Peculiarities
Works on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Supports Chromium browsers, Firefox and Safari (Safari on macOS only).

Exports passwords.

Exports cookies.

Exports bookmarks.

Exports history.

Exports download history.

Exports bank cards (Chromium only).

Exports extension data.

Exports localStorage.

Exports sessionStorage (Chromium only).

Браузеры: Chrome, Chrome Beta, Chromium, Edge, Brave, Opera, OperaGX, Vivaldi, Yandex, CocCoc, Arc, DuckDuckGo, QQ, 360 ChromeX, 360 Chrome, DC Browser, Sogou Explorer, Firefox, Safari.

On macOS, some Chromium browsers require the current user's password.

Password decryption may not work on macOS 26.4 and later.

Safari requires Full Disk Access.

On Windows, Chromium 127+ cookies (App-Bound Encryption) are decrypted only with a special build (make build-windows).

Machine-to-machine decryption: keys are removed on the source machine, data is decrypted offline on another OS.

The archive, dumpkeys, and restore commands are used for transferring and offline decryption.

Data from Windows-only browsers (Sogou, QQ, 360, DC, DuckDuckGo) can be decrypted on macOS or Linux if you have the archive and keys.

Cross-host key export is for Chromium only; Firefox and Safari are skipped in this scenario.

keys.json stores master keys in cleartext and is written with permissions 0600.

Support for Firefox 144+ (AES-256-CBC master key).

Support for the host_key prefix in cookies in Chrome 130+.

Linux cipher prefix v11 support in Chromium.

Separate decryption of Yandex passwords and cards.

Support for MSIX/UWP browsers on Windows (Arc, DuckDuckGo).

The program doesn't hack the network or brute-force website passwords. It works with user data already saved on disk: it finds profile directories, copies the necessary files (including those occupied by the running browser), retrieves the master key using the operating system where the profile was created, decrypts the records, and writes the results.

Output formats: JSON, CSV, and cookie-editor (cookies only, an array in the format of the cookie-editor extension). By default, files are placed in the results directory; they can be optionally packaged in a zip file.

Engines and browsers
Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Chrome Beta, Chromium, Edge, Brave, Opera, OperaGX, Vivaldi, Yandex, CocCoc, Arc, and the Windows-only branches of DuckDuckGo, QQ, 360 ChromeX, 360 Chrome, DC Browser, Sogou Explorer) store passwords, cookies, and maps in SQLite, and the key in Local State. On Windows, the standard key is tied to the current user's DPAPI. On macOS, some browsers require the user's password for Keychain; on macOS 26.4 and later, password decryption may not work, according to the README. Linux uses its own cipher prefix, including v11.
A special case is Chromium 127+ cookies (Chrome, Chrome Beta, Edge, Brave, CocCoc). They are protected by App-Bound Encryption. A standard cross-build doesn't cover this: you need the "make build-windows" build, which has a small C payload embedded (the recommended toolchain is Zig). Without this build, other categories can be read, but v20 cookies cannot.
Firefox stores logins in its own profile format. Since version 144, the master key has been migrated to AES-256-CBC; the current branch takes this into account. Firefox doesn't use a portable key in the dumpkeys script.
Safari is only supported on macOS and requires Full Disk Access. History, cookies (BinaryCookies), passwords via Keychain, bookmarks and downloads from plist, localStorage, extensions, and multiple profiles are also supported. There is no portable key.
Yandex is processed separately: its passwords and maps. Arc and DuckDuckGo on Windows are also processed as MSIX/UWP.
